Farmers’ Market in Ida Grove to open July 2

The Ida Area Farmers’ Market is beginning its sixth season on July 2 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Second Street in downtown Ida Grove. The market will run beginning in July through September. The market is a certified market where WIC and Senior Coupons can be redeemed with the produce vendors.
The following precautions will be in place at the market this year to protect customers and vendors. The vendors will wear masks and gloves at all times. They will use sanitary wipes or other means to sanitize their area between customers.
The vendors will be parked six-feet apart. The customers will not be allowed to touch any products. There will be no social gatherings in the park.
A hand washing station will be provided for customers. Social distancing will be enforced. Customers are to remain six-feet apart.
