Ida County Moderna COVID vaccine clinics

Ida County has set three additional dates for Moderna COVID vaccine clinics. Clinics will be held on Wednesdays, March 17, 24 and 31, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lohff-Schumann Community Center in Holstein—by appointment only.

Scheduling will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 11. 

You can schedule your appointment one of two ways: 

1) Online at (this is the most efficient method) or

2) Call 712-364-7356. Call line hours are limited to Monday–Friday from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., beginning Thursday, March 11.

Eligible recipients for the March clinics will be Phase 1b, tiers one through five.

This includes individuals 65 years and older, PK-12 educators, childcare workers, child welfare social workers, first responders; individuals with disabilities living in home settings and their direct care staff; food, agriculture, distribution and manufacturing workers without social distancing ability; staff of individuals living in congregate settings (does not include college dorms), government officials to ensure continuity of government including staff, engaged in state business at the Iowa Capital during the legislative session; inspectors responsible for hospital, long-term care and child safety and correctional facility staff and individuals incarcerated.  

Remember to wear a shirt that makes your shoulder easily accessible and arrive at the time you are scheduled.

Times may be expanded, depending on availability of vaccine each week, and clinics may be postponed, depending on availability of vaccine.
