The Ida County Board of Supervisors met with Third District Chief Judge Duwayne Hoffmeyer, County Attorney Meghann Whitmer, Judicial IT Noah Deters, Senior Finance and Personnel Manager Mare Steil and Jim Krajicek (clerk’s office) July 21 to discuss relocating the courtroom until the bat removal and cleanup is complete and the air conditioning is fixed and possible remodeling is done.
The board and those attending toured the previous Invenergy office building as a possible relocation site.
A phone conference was held with a representative from IMC Building Services regarding the air conditioning unit in the courtroom attic. A proposal to remove the units in the attic and redo ductwork will be completed for the next meeting.
