Ida supervisors approve salaries, talk road projects

The Ida County Board of Supervisors met in regular session and discussed TIF, secondary road and financial matters June 25.

The supervisors authorized attorney John Danos to work on the county’s behalf in possible future negotiations with American Natural Processors Inc. regarding a TIF abatement agreement, because the TIF agreement and the development agreement ended had different schedules. Danos may contact Iowa Economic Development Corporation to gain more information, said Auditor Lorna Steenbock.

Another TIF-development agreement situation, with Flint Hills, Inc., also had a difference in schedules but was of shorter time.
