OABCIG, Ridge View graduation plans

Due to COVID-19, high school graduation at Ridge View and OABCIG will take on a different format this year.
OABCIG High School will be broadcasting a commencement slideshow this Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m. The slideshow will feature each student as well as the academic and scholarship awards they have received.
This show will be provided via social media on the OABCIG School YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/oabcigschools/videos).
The link to the show will be posted on the OABCIG Facebook page, Twitter page, Instagram and the front page of the school website (www.oabcig.org). The links will be live by 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 17.
A formal commencement has been scheduled for Sunday, June 28, at 2 p.m.
OABCIG will have a car parade to honor the seniors Sunday, May 17. The parade will start in Odebolt at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, and parade through the streets of Odebolt for about 20 minutes and then head to Arthur.
The parade will loop through Arthur and then head to Ida Grove by approximately 5 p.m. The graduates will drive the streets of Ida Grove for 20 minutes and will finish by heading to Battle Creek with an approximate arrival time of 6 p.m.
Ridge View
Parents of Ridge View seniors are hosting a car parade Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17. On Saturday, May 16, at 6 p.m., the starting point will be at the Schaller First Co-op and, from there, the parade will travel to Early for a 7 p.m. parade.
On Sunday, May 17, the parade will start at the Holstein Super Market at 2 p.m. and then travel to Galva for a 3 p.m. parade.
Ridge View will have a formal commencement on Sunday, June 28, at 2 p.m.
