OABCIG runners place at Okoboji meet

The OABCIG cross-country teams ran in the Okoboji Cross-Country Invite Thursday.
Eric Sibenaller had the OABCIG boys’ best individual placing. He ran 26th with a time of 19:18. The boys’ team placed eighth. In girls’ varsity competition, Tatiana Campbell set the pace for the Falcons with a 65th place finish. Her time was 26:08. The girls’ team placed 13th.
OABCIG scored 248 team points to place eighth out of 13 teams. Sioux Center was first with 68 points.
OABCIG’s individual placings were: Sibenaller, 26th, 19:18; Felix Casiano, 42nd, 19:47; Sam Reiling, 48th, 20:04; Chance Buns, 66th, 21:38; Will Gebel, 70th, 22:04; Truman Clark, 71st, 22:12 and Preston Gill, 81st, 23:34.
The Falcons had 324 team points, which placed the team 13th. Sibley-Ocheyedan was first with 66 points.
OABCIG’s individual placings were: Campbell, 65th, 26:08; Hailey Linde, 70th, 26:51.11; Sienna Becker, 71st, 26:51.75; Silvia Buns, 73rd, 26:59; Olivia Riessen, 79th, 28:09 and Izzy Gritten, 86th, 30:25.
