Beverly Jean Rusch
1931 – 2025
HOLSTEIN - Beverly was born on Jan. 10, 1931, to John C. and Elsie (Dittmer) Wiese in Holstein. She lived northwest of Holstein and graduated from Holstein High School in 1949.
Beverly was married to Carl Henry Rusch on Oct. 23, 1952, and moved to Sioux City. They had four children. She graduated from Morningside College in 1968 and moved back to Holstein in 1969. She taught in the Cherokee School system until she retired.
Beverly enjoyed playing Bridge and visiting with friends and family while in Holstein. She spent many years living in Florida where she enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. She later moved to Tennessee to be closer to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Carl John Rusch, grandson James Robison, son Brian Rusch (Bonnie), and daughter Stacy Davis (Pete), grandchildren Nathan, Alex, Austin, and Hannah.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie; her husband, Carl; brother, Clifford Wiese; sisters, Winola Wienert, Dorothy Dutler, Donna Gottwald, Shirley Heilman, and son, Cary Rusch.
