Harold E. Ehrlich

OCALA, FLA. – Private family graveside services for Harold E. Ehrlich, 92, of Ocala, Fla., will be in the Holstein Cemetery in Holstein with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating.

Burial will be in the Holstein Cemetery at Holstein, with military rites by American Legion Dessel-Schmidt Post #225 at Holstein.Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home in Holstein is in charge of arrangements.

He died April 22, 2021, at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, Fla.

Harold Eugene Ehrlich was born to Jonathan Charles and Lena (Vogel) Ehrlich Sr. in Marion, Kan. He graduated from the University of Kansas and served in the U.S. Army. He married his beloved wife, Fern Rasche, May 2, 1958.

Harold retired from the Boeing Company after 39 years of service and relocated from Seattle, Wash., to Ocala, Fla. There, he spent his final years, caring for his home and enjoying an occasional round of golf.

Survivors include his wife Fern; a nephew, Darryl Ehrlich; and two nieces: Janet Priddy (Alan) and Carol Stevens (Bill).

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jonathan Jr.; and a sister, Nettie Daily.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold’s name to the Kansas University Endowment Association, Gift Processing Department, KU Endowment, P.O. Box 928, Lawrence, KS, 66044-0928, or a charity of your choice.
