Ida County receives PIE award

Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand (holding pie) presented Ida County with a PIE (Public Innovations and Efficiency) award. The award recognizes innovative practical tips and tricks in reducing waste and saving taxpayer money. Receiving the award are (from left) County Conservation Director Zach Hall, county supervisor Raymond Drey, County Recorder Julie Phillips, and County Treasurer Tracy Riessen. Ida County was recognized for doing the best among counties its size at money-saving activities. Conservation Director Zach Hall completed and submitted a survey to garner the recognition for Ida County.
