Raptors host home cross-country invitational

The Tim Thomas Classic Saturday in Holstein saw Sioux City North’s Natnael Kifle set the pace in cross-country with a first-place finish in a time of 15:59.93, as Chance Buns led area runners in Varsity Class A with his 69th-place finish in 21:17.05.

Teammate Quintin Samway finished in 92nd place in 24:27.16 as Matthew Holbrook grabbed 97th place in 26:05.19.

MOC-Floyd Valley was the top team for the day with 22 points, followed by Sioux City North with 53 points and Okoboji with 88 points.
