On Nov. 8, 1958, Marc married Gleneva Allen in the United Methodist Church in Galva. The couple settled on a farm in the Arthur area raising their four children: Ron, Bob, Jan, and Joyce. Walking beans and then eventually riding beans was the normal activity for his summers.
