ODEBOLT - Mary Louise Siebrecht, 79, of Odebolt, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Loring Hospital of Sac City.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, at the United Methodist Church of Odebolt. Rev. Ken Miller will officiate. Committal will follow in the Odebolt Cemetery of Odebolt.
A Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt.

Mary Louise (Raasch) Siebrecht was born on Dec. 30, 1944 in Carroll. She was the only child of Clifford and Nellie (Olson) Raasch. Mary Louise was baptized and confirmed in her faith at the United Methodist Church of Odebolt. Mary Louise grew up on a farm north of Odebolt that was honored as a Century Farm in 2015. She attended school and graduated from Odebolt High School with the Class of 1963. She was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
On Sept. 26, 1971, Mary Louise married Robert Siebrecht in the United Methodist Church of Odebolt. The couple were blessed with five children: Karen, Tammi, Trent, Kimberly, and Angela.
Mary Louise worked at the Arthur Elevator and at Rex Chevrolet. After she married Robert, she became a homemaker and raised her family while continuing to farm. She also worked part-time as a secretary for the Odebolt United Methodist Church.
Mary Louise enjoyed farming, jigsaw puzzles, baking, sewing, crocheting and word searches. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory include her children: Tammi (Brett) Murley of Sac City, Trent Siebrecht of Storm Lake, Kimberly (Chris) Heginger of Des Moines, and Angela Siebrecht of Grinnell, Iowa; eight grandchildren: Tiffany, Jacob, Tyler, Zachary, Elizabeth, Isabella, Garrett and Karsen; sister-in-law Joan Grosnickle of Mesa, Arizona; extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Nellie Raasch; husband Robert Siebrecht; infant daughter Karen Siebrecht; infant granddaughter Ashlynn Murley; and infant grandson Christopher Becker.
