OABCIG boys get past Woodbury Central 69-58

The OABCIG boys basketball squad handed Woodbury Central its first conference defeat with a 69-58 conquest in Ida Grove. The Falcons jumped out to a 9-3 lead against the Wildcats, and held a 13-9 advantage after one quarter. Woodbury Central came back to take a 27-24 lead, but OABCIG hit a three pointer just before the buzzer to tie the game at 27 apiece going into the halftime break. The Falcons used a strong third quarter to give themselves a 44-36 cushion after three periods of play.
