LAKE MILLS, IA- Lois (Albers) Fritz, of Lake Mills, IA, formerly of Battle Creek, IA, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026 at the Lake Mills Care Center in Lake Mills, IA.

A graveside service for Lois was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026 at the Holstein Cemetery in Holstein.

Lois Eileen (Albers) was born on March 13, 1941 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Henry Rudolph and Hilda Elsie (Schultz) Albers. She graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1959.

On June 4, 1961, she was united in marriage to DeLaine Norman Fritz at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Battle Creek, IA.

Her husband, DeLaine, passed away in 2001 in the process of moving to Lake Mills, IA.

Lois is survived by her sons, Daeon Fritz and Damon Fritz; daughter in-law, Teresa Fritz; six grandchildren, Emmett, DeAndra, Dalton, Denae, Morgan, and Mason; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, DeLaine; son, Daron Fritz; and a brothers, Lamern (Rosemary) Albers and Marvin (Betty) Albers.
