A private family service was held at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa. Rev. Richard A. Salcido officiated. Committal services were held in the Hayes Township Cemetery of Arthur, Iowa.

IDA GROVE - John E. Breaman, age 87, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at the MercyOne Medical Center of Sioux City, Iowa.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father William A. McCarthy will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Calvary Cemetery of Sioux City, Iowa.
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - Barb Eng Fuqua, 78 of Grand Island, formerly of Iowa, died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Nov. 24, 2022. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Interment will follow at Kearney Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
