A Funeral Service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Rev. Richard A. Salcido officiated. Committal Services followed in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Ida Grove, Iowa.
WALL LAKE - Lauretta F. Skarin, 92, of Wall Lake, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at the Twilight Acres Nursing Home of Wall Lake, Iowa.
Per Lauretta’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held this summer at the Kiron Cemetery of Kiron, Iowa. Rev. Roger Carlyle will officiate.
BATTLE CREEK - Joel Paul Leenaars of Naples, Florida; Battle Creek, Iowa; and Hercules, California; passed away on Jan. 31, 2023. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, April 28, 1935.
CUSHING - Alexis Grace Renze, age 23, of Cushing, Iowa (formerly of Ida Grove and Holstein, Iowa) passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident near Holstein, Iowa.

Private Family Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Ida Grove, with Rev. Luann Benge officiating. A Public Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, from 4-7 p.m., at the Skate Palace of Ida Grove, Iowa.
