MELBOURNE, FLORIDA - Lt. Col Guy K. Barrett (Ret) passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Guy was born Aug. 2, 1949 in Ida Grove, Iowa. He graduated from Ida Grove High School (1967) and Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa (1971) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.

A Funeral Service was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Rev. Richard A. Salcido officiated. Committal Services followed in the Mount Hope Cemetery of Battle Creek, Iowa. A visitation was held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa.
IDA GROVE - Reverend Donald H. Winterrowd, age 84, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Horn Memorial Hospital of Ida Grove, Iowa.
A Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2022, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Rev. Richard A. Salcido, Rev. Neil Wehmas, and Rev. Dr. Steven Turner officiated. Burial will take place at a later date.
