Falcon boys bowling coach Kurt Hofmeister has several talented returning bowlers for the 2023-2024 season. While last year’s seniors, Connor Hoegh and Evan Jordan will be missed, the Falcons return Ben Hofmeister, Dillon Hanneman, and Blaise Wilcox.
The OABCIG girls bowling squad is eager to start another season. The team lost only two seniors to graduation, Jade Wilcox and Payton Mathies. Head coach Wylene Redenius discussed who she has returning for another year.
The Ridge View girls basketball squad looks to continue their winning ways this winter. The Raptors compiled a 12-10 overall record last season, including a 6-3 mark in the Western Valley Conference.
The Ridge View girls wrestling squad earned the team championship at Saturday’s tournament in Holstein. The Raptors captured first place out of 18 teams with 163 points, edging the second-place score of 161.
The Raptor girls wrestling team hosted the Ridge View Duals last Tuesday in Holstein. Ridge View defeated Sergeant Bluff-Luton 54-30, doubled up Algona 60-30, and blasted Denison-Schleswig 72-9.
The Western Valley Conference has released its all-conference teams for the 2023 volleyball season. Ridge View had four players selected to the first team, including seniors Rowan Jensen, Shae Dutler, and Taya Phillips, and junior Sydney Blackmore.
