The Ridge View boys golf squad took part in a Western Valley Conference tournament at Kingsley last Monday. The Raptors finished fifth in the eight-team field with a score of 178. Woodbury Central won the meet with a team score of 165. Ridge View was led by Kellen Clausen and Levi Albers, who both fired identical scores of 42. Right behind them were Drew Burk with a 46 and Robert Forristal with a 48. Gavin Vohs fired a 53, while Jackson Struck shot a 54.

Kingsley-Pierson won the meet with a team score of 197. The Raptors were led by Natalie Madsen, who fired a 51. Right behind her were Zoey Aschinger with a 53, Emma Mentzer and Kierstin Volkert, who shot identical scores of 54. Beth Mentzer fired a 58, followed closely by Addison Voge with a 61.
The OABCIG girls golf team took part in a Western Valley Conference tournament at Holstein last Monday. The Falcons finished fourth in the nine-team meet with a score of 213. Kingsley-Pierson won the tournament with a team score of 197.
The Falcon boys golf squad competed at a Western Valley Conference golf tournament in Kingsley last Monday, finishing in third place out of eight teams with a score of 176. Woodbury Central won the meet with a team score of 165. OABCIG was led by Axton Miller, who fired a 41. Kale Ladwig, Kane Ladwig, and Ben Hofmeister shot identical scores of 45. Trenton Gilbert fired a 50, followed closely by Cade Mason with a 53. Other teams and scores at the meet were second place Kingsley-Pierson (169), Westwood (177), Ridge View (178), MVAO-COU (195), Lawton-Bronson (196), and West Monona (197).
The OABCIG boys track and field squad captured second place at the Western Valley Conference track meet in Kingsley last week. The Falcons scored 115 team points, just edged out by first place West Monona with 117.5 points.

Hailey Bender placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 14 feet, 6 inches. Stella Remer won third place in the discus competition with a throw of 95 feet, 1 inch. Remer also placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 29 feet.
The OABCIG girls track and field squad took part in the Jon P. Lageschulte Memorial Relays on Tuesday in Ida Grove. The Falcons won fourth place in the seven-team field with 85 points. Woodbine won the meet with a total team score of 153.
The Ridge View girls track and field squad traveled to Cherokee and competed in the Tomahawk Relays on Tuesday. The Raptors captured first place in the class 2A division with 165 points, compared to second place Unity Christian with 131 points.
Ridge View’s sprint medley team of Taya Phillips, Kiara Dutler, Rowan Jensen, and Arissa Kretlow won fourth place with a time of 1:59.92. Jaycie Vohs set a new school record in the 3,000 meter run, capturing first place with a time of 11:31.77, while Addison Tesch took fourth place in a time of 12:53.11.
The Ridge View boys track and field squads took part in the MVAO-COU Invite in Mapleton on Thursday. The Raptors took fourth place in the eight-team field, scoring 98.5 team points. West Monona won the meet with 160 points.

Rylee Krayenhagen of OABCIG captured medalist honors by firing a 40. Bente de Vries shot a 48, while Natalie Burk carded a 52 and Hayden Zimmerman turned in a score of 54. Right behind her was Gwen Jacobson with a 55, and Olivia Schroeder contributed a 67.
