Jennifer Sykes loves her beekeeping

Jennifer Sykes is the Administrator and Director of Nursing of Golden Horizons in Ida Grove, but is a lover of bees. She has around 10-12 hives in her backyard in Odebolt. Sykes grew up in Ida Grove and then her family moved to Harlan. She always said she was going to move back to Ida Grove. She fondly tells of when she was a kid in her backyard in Ida Grove, she was holding on to the branches of a tree. She said then,

“I don’t want to leave Ida Grove!”
