Lawton-Bronson scored a ninth inning run to break a 2-2 deadlock and come away with a 3-2 win over OABCIG in the first round of the Western Valley Conference baseball tournament last Monday at Kingsley. The Falcons got on the scoreboard first with a Treyten Kolar solo home run in the third inning. OABCIG extended the lead to 2-0 with another run in the fourth inning. The Eagles would respond with two runs in the sixth inning to knot the game at 2-2. That score would hold up until Lawton-Bronson plated the winning run in the ninth inning.
