OABCIG students earn Solo Awards at Jazz Festival

The 2023 Triton Jazz Festival drew students from a wide swathe of Iowa schools with some proud OABCIG students taking honors.

Taking place Jan. 11-13 in Fort Dodge, the event saw Matthew Todd, Mikayla Lundy, and Kaylee Oxendale all received a Solo Award.

“It was the 10th year for the event,” said Paul DeCoursey, director of public information for Iowa Central Community College.
