Owen C. Bolte, Chairman of the Board of United Bank of Iowa and Ida Grove Bancshares, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of Earleen Uhl to the Board of Directors of United Bank of Iowa and Ida Grove Bancshares, Inc. effective April 19, 2024.
The regular meeting of the Ida County Historical Society was held April 25, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Ida Grove Public Library. President, Steve Wilkens, called the meeting to order with ten members present and 2 guests. Minutes of March 21, 2024 were read and approved.
The Ridge View FFA Banquet was held Sunday, April 28. A roast beef dinner was provided along with a choice of chocolate or white well-frosted cake. After the supper, parents, families, and friends adjourned to the Rosemary Clausen Center for Performing Arts.
Janet Snyder signed a contract to teach 37 years ago with the Ida Grove Middle School to teach 6th grade, and she has taken two of those years off to stay at home with her children when they were young.
