The Ridge View boys track and field squad made a good showing, at the state qualifying track meet in Manson on Thursday, despite being matched up with some of the better squads in Iowa’s Class 2A.
The Ridge View boys golf squad traveled to Carroll last week, to compete in the Class 2A Sectional tournament at Carroll National golf course. The Raptors won third place out of eight teams, with a total score of 342.
The Ridge View girls golf squad qualified for the Western Valley Conference end-of-season tournament, held at Willow Creek golf course in Le Mars last week. The Raptors took fifth place with a team score of 456.
The OABCIG boys track and field squad took part in the Western Valley Conference meet in Lawton last week. The Falcons placed sixth with 51 total team points. Westwood (Sloan) won the meet with 115 team points.
The Ridge View girls track and field squad traveled west on Highway 20 last week, to compete in the Western Valley Conference track meet in Lawton. The Raptors put on another impressive performance, winning second place out of eight teams with 132 total points.
The OABCIG girls track and field squad traveled to Lawton last week, to participate in the Western Valley Conference track and field championships. The Falcons placed sixth with 43.5 total team points.
The Ridge View boys track and field squad put together a strong performance at the Western Valley Conference meet in Lawton last week. The Raptors earned second place out of eight teams represented at the meet, with 105 total points.
The OABCIG boys golf squad finished atop the standings of the Western Valley Conference. A team receives nine points for winning a meet, eight points for finishing second, and so on.
The OABCIG girls golf squad hosted a Western Valley Conference golf tournament in Ida Grove last week. The Falcons placed seventh out of nine teams with a total score of 232. Kingsley-Pierson won the tournament with a team score of 208.
