The Ridge View boys track and field squad earned a third place finish out of 10 teams, at the annual Russ Kraai Relays in Holstein on Tuesday. The Raptors compiled 106 team points, bested only by MMC-RU (165) and Cherokee (152).
The OABCIG girls golf squad took part in a triangular at Willow Vale golf course in Mapleton last week. The Falcons were led by Natalie Burk, who captured third place by firing a 56, followed closely by Hayden Zimmerman and Olivia Schroeder, who both shot a 59.
The Raptor boys golf squad won second place at the Western Valley Conference golf meet, held Friday afternoon at the Ida Grove golf course. Ridge View had a team score of 168, second only to host school OABCIG with a 162.

The Ridge View track and field squads made good showings at Le Mars on Thursday evening. The girls team won third place with 92 team points, behind only MOC-Floyd Valley and Orange City-Unity Christian, with 157 and 108 points, respectively.
The OABCIG track and field squads traveled north to Cherokee on Thursday, to compete in the Lynn Jolly Relays. The Falcon girls team placed ninth out of 13 teams with 49 points. The host school, Cherokee Washington, won the event with 100 points.
The Ridge View boys’ golf team will look to returning talent as a new season gets underway. The Raptors will have several players back in their lineup who enjoyed a successful season last year.
The Ridge View girls’ golf squad is ready for another fun season. Coach Brian Bode has several experienced players returning, including sophomore Zoey Aschinger, who was named to the All-Conference team as a freshman last year.
