Kevin Campbell, president and CEO of Shelby County State Bank (SCSB), was in Ida Grove recently and shared some insight into the bank’s success. Campbell gave a brief description of what SCSB has to offer.
Christmas in the town of Odebolt was held at the Community Center on Dec. 2. People were to bring a sizable non-perishable donation for the Sac County Food Pantry to be entered into the huge amount of drawings to win.
The EMS essential service was passed with 78 percent of the community’s vote. Only 60 percent was needed for the project to move forward. Corey Trucke was pleasantly surprised and shocked with the support from the community’s support.
Julie Cameron who works at the food pantry says that they serve seven different communities. Those are Battle Creek, Arthur, Galva, Holstein, Ida Grove, Kiron and Odebolt. These are where they have the mobile site pantries. Cameron says,

Jeff Lipinski, owner of Buffalo Creek Jewelry in Holstein, opened his store for business on Wednesday, Nov. 15. The store is located on 716 South Main Street, Suite E, in the Suite Emporium.
